Wooden pots (oak flowerpots) are made of oak-staves glued together by glue and groove steel hoops. In order for the large pots to be used for a long time we install plastic bottoms and we use draining inserts, which accommodate the excess of water from inside the pot.
Natural oak wood, thus the soil should be poured directly into the wooden pots!!! Direct contact of oak-wood with moist soil will cause self-sealing of the pot and will surely lengthen its usage period. Large pots on wheels: are flowerpots Ø 40 cm (above 25cm height).
Available colours of wooden pots: natural brown, dark brown, mahogany, green.
It is also very important that our flowerpots have draining inserts at the bottom which accommodate the excess of water from soil inside the pot. Flowerpots from no. 002 to no. 015 have plastic bottom.
![]() Wooden pots from no. 016 to nn. 023 have wood bottom. The demexkon manufacturer recommends usage of cork inserts in orderto avoid stains on the floor. If using the pot outdoors
hole in the bottom (Ø 8mm) should be made in order to remove the
excess of rainwater.
